I purchased a home in Salt Lake City and discovered the original 1916 wood floors under the carpet. I would like to refinish the floors myself in my front room which is about 500 sq ft.
Any idea how much it will cost to rent the equipment and stain the floors? Thanks!

The equipment can be rented at home depot or lowes. Depends on how long you need it, it rents by the hour, or in 4 hour intervals.
the material, diamond hard, is about 0/ gallon. You will probably need 2. A gallon covers about 400 sf but you probably want more than 1 coat
