Bona Naturale Hardwood Floor Finish Review
I’ve used other water based polyurethane flooring finishes before but this is a unique product and I thought I’d do a video review. – Matt Risinger principle of Risinger Homes an Austin TX based High Performance Green Building and Remodeling company
Dura Seal Water Based Polyurethane is a one component floor finish that is an environmentally friendly alternative to oil based hardwood floor finishes. It applies just as easily as an oil based polyurethane, and retains a traditional look. Duraseal Waterbased Poly needs no additional hardener or catalyst. It dries in 2 to 3 hours depending on conditions, and is ready for light traffic in 24 hours. With it’s low 275 VOC level, it is approved for use in all 50 states. One great feature about Dura Seal Water-Based Polyurethane is that is is available in four different sheens, Matte, Satin, Semi Gloss, and Gloss. The Matte sheen is quite impressive, looking like an old wax or penetrating oil finish.
